Situated in the popular family residential location of Saar in the Saraya 1 development is a contemporary villa for rent renovated to give it a more contemporary feel and a homely touch.

The private property is on a delightful development within walking distance to St Christopher's junior and infant school and is close to major highways and the Al Najib Shopping Centre.

Raffaella Saunal helped give the villa its unique look with her husband. She said: 'We have many nice elements to the home. The reason behind the renovation was all the houses in the neighbourhood looked similar so we wanted to give it its own flavour.

'The exterior is made with a Spanish element and we used the highest quality of stones within the property. This house has a lot of potential with tonnes of open space and is a mere five minutes away from St Christopher's School.

'We have a very nice garden where I replanted everything and added a swimming pool to give it a tropical look. We also added a little gazebo overlooking the pool so there is a great shaded element. We have an artistic wall made up of blue stone mosaic as well.'

The ground floor features a living and dining room, TV room and a larger space which can be converted into a study or separate dining area.

The windows all have big wooden shutters and this wooden theme can also be seen in the kitchen. Also on the ground floor is a guest closet.

The first floor includes a family room and four bedrooms. The master bedroom consists of a dressing area with built-in wardrobes and an ensuite bathroom. The other three rooms all include wardrobes but only one has an ensuite bathroom and the other two rooms share a separate bathroom.

The second floor has a maid's room and laundry room washer and dryer.

The backyard features a swimming pool, beautiful garden and gazebo. There is also a second maid's room, driver's room and double garage along with a car port for a third vehicle.
