Thursday (March 17)A group exhibition will be held at the Centre Culturel Franco-Bahre•nien La Maison Jamsheer in Muharraq at 7.30pm. Participants include author Ali Al Saeed, artist Perry Ashmawi and musicians Hasan Hujairi and Faisal Sheikh. The exhibition runs until March 31. The main theme of the project is 'local pop culture' and will be represented in a variety of mediums such as photography, painting, installation, video & audio, sculpture and interactive media.

The Al Riwaq Art Space in Adliya will host a digital photography for beginners every Saturday and Monday until April 16. Topics include the understanding of a camera's construction and control, lenses and exposure. Timings are 6.30pm to 8.30pm every Monday and from 10am to 12pm every Saturday.
