 I WAS privileged to watch young members of the Japan Karate Association (JKA) Bahrain being tested for their belts at the dojo off Budaiya Highway last weekend.
It was heartening to see the spirit and effort they all put in. However, what struck me most were the words the students recited at the end of the session.
Seek perfection of character, be faithful, endeavour, respect others and refrain from violent behaviour. </p>
<p>Not a bad set of principles for the future generation to adhere to.
