Ian Jennings, from Saar, managed to complete his winning round in 78 strokes after a 4, 5, 7 start, followed by 11 pars in the Consolation Cup and Medal event at the Awali Golf Club.
A delighted Jennings, who has been struggling with his game for most of the season, felt that his putting was the savior of his round as he managed to hole a number of tricky 6 and 7 foot putts for a nett 66.
Ali Musbah, from Riffa, emerged as the medal winner as well as the winner of all the cup winners for this season with a gross 68.
