For the 19th consecutive year, the GCSE and A Level Art students at St Christopher’s Senior School will be showcasing their talents at the school’s annual art exhibition in Isa Town. The exhibition will be open to public from June 1 to 7 and June 13 to 15 from 8am- 2.30pm. Around 60 students will be exhibiting their work in this year’s show, which features a diverse range of techniques, approaches and ideas. For more details contact 17788101.
The Manama Singers will present ‘Summer time - a celebration of summer in popular song’ on June 2 and 3 at 7.30pm at the British Club. Tickets are available from Al Osra, The Bookcase and The British Club.
The Little Gems Pre-School in Barbar will be running summer school in two sessions – one from July 10 to August 4 and from August 7 for three weeks. It will run from Sunday till Thursday every week from 8am to 12pm. The camp will feature art and craft activities as well as cooking, paper mache, soft play, indoor play with slides, climbers etc and a fun splash day every week. The American Women’s Association Spring Bazaar 2011 will take place at the BAPCO Club on Saturday, June 4, from noon until 5pm. There will be a lucky draw and bake shop. Entrance is 500 fils, which is donated to charity, with children under 5 free. For more details email crafts@awabahrain.org
