The Law of Action

WHATEVER we do comes back to us. It may not come back from the same side; it may come from another side. But how does it come?

Suppose we speak very badly to a servant, we insult him, we hurt his feelings. We think, ‘I am quite safe; he cannot do me any harm’. But subconsciously our mind is impressed by the insult, the unkindness and that impression we take with us; we take it before whomever we meet and it calls forth the insulting tendency, the unkindness of him with whom we come in contact.

The element attracts the same element, our coldness attracts his unkindness. We may meet many people who cannot insult us: their situation makes it impossible for them. But when we meet someone who can do so, our superior for instance, he will insult us, he will hurt our feelings.

If we do someone a kindness we ourselves are impressed by kindness and this impression draws out kindness from those before whom we come. The cruel will not be so very cruel with us because of this impression of kindness, and when we meet someone who is kind his kindness towards us will be increased a thousand times – Inayat Khan.

Every particle in this universe is made up of energy, some energies carry a dense composition and some are lighter in comparison.

Flow being the key, as it keeps purifying the energy from being dense, settled at one point. Thoughts, which constantly capture every moment of our lives, are also nothing but energy, consisting of elements our perspective – way of thinking, formed by our environment we live in.

From the very early days of our childhood, we are trained by the knowledge, understanding of others derived from their own experiences and then transferred into us. For instance, a certain belief which is given to us by our environment, society, parents, institutions, tells us that seeing is believing, you see a glass you believe in its existence. Hence we are witnessing things based on the knowledge we have, given to us by our environment.

Similarly, there is anotherrealm within the realm welive in, the realm of energies. They are definitely not visible, but it doesn’t mean they do not exist. They are not visible because we have not been trained to observe them, understand them and focus on them. Ironically, energy being the source of the creation of every matter, we are unaware of its function, its significance and this very lack of awareness is the sole cause of its invisibility.

Every thought is energy, it’s neutral in nature. For example, fire, it’s neither good nor bad, you may use it for cooking a meal or for burning down a house. All depends on our understanding and the patterns formed by it that shape our perspective. Repetition of any thought increases the energy field of its element and ends up attracting elements of a similar nature. Spiritualists from all walks of life and from all religions have said: ‘whatever you believe in the most, you will end up manifesting it’.

Try practicing it, starting today, any question you may have in your head, instead of asking someone, instead of asking a belief which tells you, only if I go to Mr A is when I will get the answer, instead try to feel the actual need inside your heart and from that point become entirely neutral of your preference and pay attention to the surroundings, and I assure you, either in a newspaper, in a movie, or words from the people around you will carry the answer to your question.

Understand your energy, and observe its manifestations.
