Gulf Weekly Rush on for rubies

LIALI Jewellery at the Bahrain City Centre is celebrating the month of July with the brilliance of ruby, known as the ‘king of gemstones’.

The gem is particularly popular with jewellery lovers whose birthdays fall in July and those celebrating their 40th wedding anniversaries.

Anuraag Sinha, managing director of Liali Jewellery, said: “Ruby jewellery is also a popular choice for brides as the stone dazzles with the romance and artistry of ancient times and it has long appealed to women of all backgrounds.

“Antique jewellery, especially, engagement rings and wedding bands are often set with brilliant rubies. High quality rubies are more valuable and rarer than the top quality colourless diamonds, thus making the gem an undisputed ruler.”

The company has a variety of individual jewellery pieces and collections including the popular Ruby – Roses set comprising of a ring, earrings and a pendant with chain, priced at BD550 and BD850 depending on the stone size. It features 12 brilliant-cut diamonds teaming up with an oval shaped ruby in the centre.

Liali Jewellery, a Dubai-based jewellery retailer, was established in 1999 and boasts 18 outlets in the UAE, Bahrain and Barcelona.
