Hugh Jackman has revealed that filming for X-Men spin-off project, The Wolverine, has been delayed until next year due to prior commitments.
Arguably one of the most important stories Marvel has ever told on the big-screen, The Wolverine, is an origin tale that will focus on the iconic character’s early adventures in Asia.
The consensus among fans is that this movie is an attempt to compensate for X-Men Origins: Wolverine which was critically panned.
However, Jackman told Leicester Square TV that filming on the project has been pushed back by his commitment to Tom Hooper’s Les Misérables.
Jackman said: “I think Les Mis is my next movie – in fact, I know that – and then after we’re done with this we’ll shoot The Wolverine next year.”
