WARM WELCOME: Irish eyes were smiling at the Bahrain Rugby Club as a family fun day out was organised to welcome newcomers to the island.
The Bahrain Irish Society members day on Friday featured face-painting, a demonstration of Gaelic Football along with music and entertainment. The event concluded with a foot-tapping performance in the evening by singer/guitarist Declan O’Sullivan who gave his own unique twist to regional issues accompanied, of course, by Irish melodies.
