The Whisperer hears that the Editor of this esteemed organ was treated well at the Royal Golf Club as a playing guest at Kempinski Hotel’s first sponsored tournament. Not only did the management place a golden plaque on his changing room locker, the club presented him with a hat with his name emblazoned on the back, no doubt to make him an easy target! Perhaps that’s why one club member went gunning for his party of players, screaming at the top of his voice about missing flags, accusing the trio of deliberately leaving them on the floor and somehow forgetting there were gale-like gusts of sand to contend with which were lifting them up all over the course.
Not the sort of behaviour you find at neighbouring Awali.
