Film – Stranger Than Fiction on MBC MAX at 11pm Harold Crick is an average IRS agent: monotonous, boring, and dull. However, one day Harold begins to hear a voice inside his head narrating his life. The narrator is extraordinarily accurate, and Harold recognises the voice as an esteemed author he saw on TV. But when the narration reveals that he is going to die, Harold must find the author of the story, and ultimately his life, to convince her to change the ending of the story before it is too late.
Saturday (Nov 5)
Series – The Killing on OSN First at 8pm This dramatic series ties together three distinct stories around a single murder including the detectives assigned to the case, the victim’s grieving family and the suspects. The story also explores local politics as it follows politicians connected to the case. As it unfolds, it becomes clear that there are no accidents – everyone has a secret, and while the characters think they’ve moved on, their past isn’t done with them.

Film – Reign Over Me on MBC 2 at 3pm Alan Johnson has everything he needs: a good job, a loving wife, and three beautiful children. Yet he feels isolated. Moving to the big city, Deeds finds himself besieged by opportunists all gunning for their piece of the pie. Babe, a tabloid reporter, poses as an innocent small-town girl to do an exposé on Deeds but ends up falling in love with him instead.
Tuesday (Nov 8)
Film – The Good Shepherd on MBC 2 at 7pm Edward Wilson is a morally upright young man who values honour and discretion. These qualities lead him to be recruited for a career in the newly-founded Office of Strategic Services (the predecessor of the Central Intelligence Agency). While working there, his ideals gradually turn to suspicion influenced by the Cold War paranoia present within the office.
