A CHARITY golf tournament in support of the disabled, which was postponed in March, will take place next month, organisers have announced.
The Shaikh Faisal Bin Hamad Al Khalifa Memorial Trophy is being held to raise funds for Bahrain Mobility International (BMI), Isa Town.
It is being held under the patronage of His Majesty King Hamad in memory of his late son Shaikh Faisal, who was an honorary president of the Bahrain Disabled Sports Federation and an avid supporter of BMI.
More than 120 of the kingdom’s golfers are participating in the better ball tournament at His Majesty’s private golf course in Safriya on November 11 and 12, with tee-offs at 7.15am and midday on both days.
The tournament is organised by BMI and managed by the Royal Golf Club.
To sponsor or participate in the tournament call Dreena Rogers on 39615356 or BMI president Adel Sultan on 39678053.
