THE Showstoppers and Olympique de Bahrain managed to top their groups respectively in the thrilling seven-a-side Bahrain Friendly Winter Football League, while the Arsenal Blues and the Friendly Fanatics finished second in their groups overall.
This sets up an exciting play-off day tomorrow, with the Blues taking on the Fanatics for the bronze medal, while OCB and the Showstoppers will play each other for the gold.
Both the Showstoppers and Olympique De Bahrain teams are very well matched, relying on quick passing and good team coordination, to outmaneuver their opponents. So far, the attacking approach of each team has led OCB to net a total of 14 goals in the league while the Showstoppers are on 15 respectively. The scene is set for a mouthwatering final, come Thursday.

Thursday’s final schedule:
Marina FC will take on the Arsenal Reds in the 7th place play-off, while the 5th place play-off will be played between Arsenal Yellows and the UCB. The 3rd place play-off will be between the Friendly Fanatics and the Arsenal Blues, and the Showstoppers and the Olympiqe De Bahrain, will compete for the Nonoo Exchange 1st place prize.
