Film – Edge of Darkness on MBC2 at 9pm
Thomas Craven is a detective who has spent years working the streets of Boston. When his own daughter is killed, Craven soon realises that her death is only one piece of an intriguing puzzle filled with corruption and conspiracy, and it falls to him to discover who is behind the crime. He quickly finds himself confronted with a shadowy world of corporate collusion with government-sanctioned murder.

Nacho is a young man who was raised in an orphanage in Mexico where he now works as a cook. Fuelled by his passion for lucha libre wrestling, he dons a mask and picks up a partner to compete in a local Lucha Libre tournament to try for the 200-peso prize so he can buy better food for the kids. When a new nun, arrives at the monastery, he tries to win her adoration as well, all while attempting to prove that being a Luchador isn’t a sin.

Soren, a young barn owl, is kidnapped by owls of St. Aggie’s, ostensibly an orphanage, where owlets are brainwashed into becoming soldiers. He and his new friends escape to the island of Ga’Hoole, to assist its noble, wise owls who fight the army being created by the wicked rulers of St. Aggie’s.

Max and Lola are master thieves finally retiring after one last successful mission. Residing in their own tropical paradise, their old nemesis, FBI Agent Stan P. Lloyd shows up to make sure they really are retired, but he’s not convinced. While Lola is busy settling into their new life and trying to find ways to keep busy, Max is contemplating whether or not to steal a rare diamond. Now the question is, will he?

Based on Charles Dickens’ timeless tale, this is a story of a man’s love for an unreachable woman. Updated to modern day New York City, the story concerns a man of modest background, Finnegan Bell, who falls in love with a rich girl, Estelle. But when a mysterious benefactor green lights the man to make his dreams come true, everything he does is planned with the ultimate goal of making Estella fall in love with him.

After being unfairly fired from her job without severance pay, Miss Guinevere Pettigrew realises that in order to stay financially afloat she’ll need to find a new job. Upon arriving at the penthouse of American entertainer Delysia Lafosse, the unassuming Miss Pettigrew becomes instantly swept up in the high-society milieu. But serving as social secretary to one of the busiest women in the city is no easy task.
