Veteran funny-man Adam Sandler, who stars in the new movie Jack & Jill, has revealed that his wife and children are infatuated with his newest character.
In Jack & Jill, Sandler plays both a brother and sister who get on each other’s nerves during a holiday reunion.
Sandler told Access Hollywood that his daughters Sadie and Sunny are constantly asking him to reprise his role as Jill at home.
“My girls and my wife love Jill. In fact, in the car ride to the movie’s premiere, they talked to me about Jill the whole time – ‘Why are you not doing Jill? You should put Jill’s clothes back on’”.
Academy Award winner Al Pacino also makes a cameo in the movie as one of Jill’s suitors. Sandler claims that Pacino’s role will leave the audience in stitches. He said “We knew it was going to be hilarious - talking about him being into Jill, getting to make fun of certain things. He was fantastic.”
Jack & Jill opened on Friday in US cinemas.
