The Royal Golf Club, led by Ladies Captain Danni Sheppard, clinched the annual ‘Green and Brown Challenge’, which took place at Awali Golf Club and the Royal Golf Club in blustery conditions, by nine matches to five on Saturday.
The competition involved seven teams from both clubs competing against each other in the better ball match play format. The teams played nine holes at the Royal Golf Club and nine holes at Awali Golf Club.
This week’s events at Awali Golf Club include the Bahrain Airport Services stableford competition on Friday and the ‘Seniors’ competition on Saturday.
