Roberta Trzebinski, with a fantastic nett total of 66, was the overall winner of the Bud Lite Medal competition which took place at Awali Golf Club.
Ali Musbah lifted the gross medal with a fine score of 73. Yousif Bahar also shot a gross 73 which included an eagle two on the par four second hole but was unfortunate to lose on countback.
The winner of the first flight was Sun Kyu Kwak with a nett score of 67. Kwak was closely followed by Mohammed Rashid and Yousif Bahar who both finished with nett scores of 68.
Yong Back Kim fired a nett 66 to win the second flight. Mahmood Falamarzi and Paul Beaumont both scored nett 67 to take second and third places respectively.
The winner of the third flight was young Christian Trzebinksi with a nett score of 72. Jeffrey Barrett also scored nett 72 but was unlucky to lose on countback. Joan Martin secured the final podium place with a nett 73.
In the side contests, Kathy Goulden and Madeline Mackie won the ladies nearest the pin prizes. Hamed Fares and Yousif Bahar claimed the men’s nearest the pin contests on holes six and 12 respectively.
