THE Bahrain Road Runners (BRR), will be staging the Riffa Views Duathlon on Friday.
Following the Grand Prix races (5km, 10km, 15km) which were organised by the BRR and hosted in Riffa Views in November last year, the duathlon requires participants to complete a total of 28km divided into three separate legs – a 3km run, followed by a 20km cycle and a 5km run to finish.
Participants can compete individually or in teams of two or three members.
Tariq Algosaibi, a member of the BRR organising committee, said: 'The Riffa Views Duathlon is one of our major events in the sporting calendar and provides participants with a strong base to prepare for the Olympic Triathlon which will be held at the end of the month.'
