Gulf Weekly Soccer school moves to spread wings

Arsenal Soccer School Bahrain, celebrating its third year coaching football to the children of Bahrain, is planning to expand its operations in April.

Firstly, the school will be permanently moving its main location from Batelco’s sports ground to Soccer City in Janabiya – located just off the Shaikh Isa bin Salman Highway.

It is a purpose-built facility with an artificial surface, changing rooms, viewing area, toilets and a shop, with more facilities planned for the future.

In addition, the school will be opening a second location at Riffa Views, where the sessions will be conducted both outdoor and indoor.

Sessions will be for boys and girls aged six to 16 of all abilities, and will also include adult fitness and football sessions and mother and toddler classes.

The plan is that Arsenal Soccer School will extend onto the full-size artificial-turf pitch offering all its football services when the facility is fully ready.

ìWe look forward to many more years showing young players how to ‘Play the Arsenal Way’ in a safe and fun environment which is open to all,î a spokesman said.
