The Great Kabab Factory (TGKF) recently started a home-delivery service in Budaiya and surrounding areas to ensure its popular kababs arrive piping hot and ready to be enjoyed.
From an exclusive recipe bank of more than 450 kababs, which include many closely-guarded family recipes passed down through the ages, carefully preserved traditions have been given a unique twist to create the flavour and aromas of the restaurant’s signature dishes.
The choice includes kebabs roasted on the tandoor or on a sighri, shallow-fried in a tawa or a mahi tawa, deep-fried in a kadhai, steamed in pots and even grilled on stone.
For vegetarians, the team of chefs say the TGKF proprietary spice bag adds to the magic of the dishes on offer. The popular restaurant, based next to the Jawad Dome in Barbar, is renowned for offering a different menu each day with unlimited servings of each dish, either vegetarian or non-vegetarian.
Besides the signature kababs such as the Galauti and the Burrah, the meal comprises of daal factory, biryani, a selection of Indian breads and the best of seasonal vegetables and delectable desserts.
