THE father and son team of Nigel and Faris Brough, representing Sri Lanka, were victorious in the annual Gulf Air World Cup of Golf tournament at the Royal Golf Club with a stunning score of 63 net in the fourball betterball medal format.
The Welsh team of Paul Carpenter and Joy Groves finished second on net 65 while the UK team of Rob Addison and Rob Kennedy made up the top three after finishing with net 66. The event culminated in a prize giving ceremony and lunch in the club’s function room.
