Young Christian Trzebinski, with a nett 63, clinched the KTC spring medal competition held at the Awali Golf Club.
Hamed Fares Al Qutami took first place with a nett 65 in the first division. Peter O’Brien, who also finished with a nett 65, lost out on countback, while Essa Al Qutami continued his fine form with a nett 67 to claim third spot.
In the second division, Christopher Gregory scored a nett 65 to secure the win ahead of Tony Chamberlain (nett 66) and Ziggy Trzebinski (nett 67).
The third division title went Arunava Banerjee (nett 68) with David Issacs (nett 68) and Julie Frosdick (nett 72) taking second and third place, respectively.
This weekend’s events at Awali are the 45th Kanoo Cup on Friday followed by the Captain’s Prize on Saturday.
