ARSENAL Soccer School Bahrain Ladies League toppers St Christopher Seniors secured a narrow 2-1 victory over bottom-of-the-table Eastern Flames.
On paper it looked like being a one-sided affair but Eastern Flames grabbed the lead within the first 10 minutes to turn the form book upside down.
The stunned Seniors struggled throughout but knocked in two goals to secure maximum points. Although the Flames have yet to pick up any so far this season the side continues to progress and not lose heart.
St Christopher’s now hold a two point cushion on top of the GulfWeekly Premiership. Amongst those in the chasing pack are Joga Bonito who also picked up three precious points by defeating RCSI4-1.
On Monday evening Woolwich Arsenal faced RCSI, Joga Bonito took up the challenge of U16 Bahrain, Royal Arsenal went up against St Christopher Seniors and Eastern Flames played Dial Square.
