What a wonderful weekend that was – a full programme of motor racing so professionally organised by those wonderful people at the BIC that I’ve forgotten about the lack of sleep due to my eagerness to drive down to the track every day. 

The vibrant energetic feel of the F1 Village featuring dancers, acrobats, clowns and the awesome Red Hot Chilli Pipers (if I mention Kilts and Bag Pipes, I think you’ll get the idea) did a sterling job of ensuring all age groups were kept entertained between races. 

And, the usually much-feared ‘leaving of any venue in the world’ was made speedy and very easy with clever use of all six lanes heading home – maybe other countries should take note? 

I did notice the circuit commentators were so busy supplying live race information they were unable to include any of the songs I’d suggested last week – but no worries, as this week I will offer some ‘good feeling’ songs to celebrate this feeling of satisfaction?
