Sahara Riding Centre held another show jumping event on Friday, writes Helen Blake.
Once the sun was setting the competition began and although this event was not on such a grand scale as the previous week’s, competition was still very fierce. The course once again was superbly designed and built by Hussain Al Musawi.
The winning line-up was as follows:
1 Mahmood Nawrooz / Gaith; 2 Ahmed Akbar / Shumar; 3 Mariam Taqi / Shumar; 4 Shaikh Abdullah bin Mohammed Al Khalifa / Red Mare.
Meanwhile, the Twin Palms Riding Centre will be staging its end of season Gymkhana and presentation ceremony on July 16.
The event will feature a challenge that will not be for the faint-hearted. Anki Holmstrom, in her own inimitable way, has been plotting these races and games for a while .
The presentation ceremony for the Twin Palms Riding Centre League 2011/2012 will follow with trophies provided by Al Hoty Analytical Services.
