David Wales narrowly won the July qualifier of the TNT Order of Merit series at the Royal Golf Club, played on the back nine holes of the Club’s Montgomerie championship course.
It was a tightly-fought contest with vice captain Rob Lane finishing just two shots adrift of Wales’s respectable gross score of 38.
In the ladies section, Karen Black continued her good run in the TNT series with a win in the gross division after shooting an impressive gross score of 43.
Sam Jones took the nett division with a respectable nett 38.
The next TNT Night Golf Qualifier will take place on August 16 and members are urged to sign up via the website or on the club’s notice board for the tournament.
