Talent show diva to star in pilot of new comedy show

Former X Factor UK judge and pop singer Kelly Rowland is to star in the pilot episode of a new sitcom.
What Would Dylan Do is a new comedy for the BET network and boasts a plethora of well-known names attached to the project including The Bernie Mac Show’s Warren Hutcherson, who will be the executive producer with Julian Breece, known for Buppies, as the writer and co-executive producer.
Rowland is said to be playing the leading lady, Dylan, a struggling LA-based relationship blogger who lives with her best friend Cherisa, played by Gabrielle Dennis, and the wealthy and divorced roommate Brooke (Melanie Liburd).
Rowland’s previous acting credits include roles in American Dreams, Freddy vs Jason,The Hughleys and Girlfriends.
