Whoopi Goldberg is to star in a recurring role on the upcoming fourth season of Glee.
Reprising her role from the previous season as Carmen Tibideaux, comedienne and View co-host Goldberg will be appearing in multiple episodes and has been billed as a special guest star.
The Sister Act star first appeared on the musical TV show in season three as the stern and hard-to-please New York Academy of Dramatic Arts dean, who held the future of protagonists Kurt (Chris Colfer) and Rachel (Lea Michele) in her hands.
Also returning for the latest season of the show are The Glee Project season one winners Samuel Larsen, as Joe Hart who dabbled in a mild flirtation with Quinn last season and Alex Newell, as they attend McKinley High and join the New Directions.
Season four will begin on September 13 in the US. However, in the meantime viewers in the kingdom can catch up with Glee everyday on OSN First at 1pm and 11pm.
