Showing superb golfing skills in tough conditions, Bahraini Mohammed Al Sayed secured top spot in this month’s TNT Order of Merit at the Royal Golf Club with a one over par gross 73.
Al Sayed beat Ali Saleh and Ronan Armstrong into second and third places respectively in the gents’ gross division after both carded gross 74s.
In the men’s nett division Sattam Al Gosaibi grabbed first place with a level par nett 72 ahead of Fahad Al Hakam and Hamed Salem. However the countback system was needed to separate the trio after they all finished on the same score.
In the ladies division, youngster Deanna Ngo continued her impressive run, shooting a gross 79. Karin Black missed out on the top spot after finishing with 83 while Ladies Captain Danni Sheppard made up the top three with a score of 86.
Kil Ja Yang won the ladies nett division with a score of 76, Ladies Vice Captain Hanne Hansen came second on nett 77 while Karin Lutz’s nett 78 was enough to ensure her the third place.
