Now available in Bahrain, the award-winning Ram 2500 Laramie Crew Cab 4x4 offers best-in-class capabilities and continues to build the reputation of Ram as one of the most dependable trucks currently available, its makers say.
The backbone of the Ram 2500 is a hydro-formed, fully-boxed frame with advanced torsional rigidity and stiffness. A coil-spring suspension setup is used in the front of the vehicle, while the multi-leaf spring design is maintained in the rear for heavy-duty capability.

In terms of power, the 2012 Ram 2500 features a 5.7-litre HEMI V8 engine, which delivers 383bhp at 5,600rpm and 400 lb.-ft. of torque at 4,000rpm. It features a host of new technologies, including Variable Valve Timing; increased compression ratio; active intake manifold with long runners for low-end torque and short runners for high-rpm power; improved cylinder-head port-flow efficiency and reduced-restriction exhaust and induction systems.
The engine also comes standard with a new heavy-duty six-speed automatic transmission that offers Electronic Range Select and tow-haul capability.
Interior appointments include soft-feel door bolsters and armrests and one-piece molded door panels for premium comfort, leather seats and leather-wrapped steering wheel.
The redesigned seats feature improved power lumbar and lateral support.
Six-ring instrumentation keeps track of all key vehicle functions while many controls are located in the centre stack for easy access. Other features include automatic temperature control, power adjustable memory seats and mirrors and numerous infotainment options, including an advanced U-connect multimedia system with a 30-gigabyte hard drive, DVD, CD, MP3 and radio with nine speakers and a subwoofer plus U-connect Phone with voice command for safe hands-free phone operation.
The latest Ram 2500 boasts 28 safety and security features, including ABS, advanced multi-stage air bags, Electronic Stability Control, Hill-Start Assist, power-adjustable pedals, advanced multi-stage front air bags, supplemental front/rear/side-curtain air bags and tire pressure monitoring system.
The Ram 2500 also provides ample space for storage. The console offers several other storage compartments – room enough to store business tools and personal items. Additional storage locations are built into the instrument panel, front and rear door panels, seat backs and even the floor.
