VIVA Bahrain has been inundated with photographs of crazy Manchester United fans itching to win an all-expenses paid trip to watch their football heroes in action at the Theatre of Dreams.
The competition, highlighted in last week’s GulfWeekly, invited all die-hard Reds to upload their images on the telecom company’s various social networking sites.
Some crazy fans sent pictures of themselves in Old Trafford and others uploaded pictures of their Manchester United memorabilia and even friends getting passionate about the club.
Entrant Richard D’Costa, 48, a technician, from Manama, hopes that his photo secures him the victory he dreams of. He said: “I have never been to Old Trafford and I hope Viva could make my dreams come true.”
The photographs are being judged by Manchester United and the lucky winner will be announced tomorrow via a video posted on Viva’s Facebook page by one of the club’s stars.
