Award-winning star Jim Rash is set to write an upcoming episode on the US show Community where he plays the beloved Dean Pelton.
Rash will step behind the camera to write an episode for the fourth season of the show. According to Vulture, the episode will focus on an alumni weekend at Greendale Community College.
Rash, who plays the flamboyant Dean in the series, won the Best Adapted Screenplay Academy Award earlier this year for co-writing The Descendants which starred George Clooney. Hopefully this winning streak will continue and Community will be adding an Emmy to their list of achievements.
No word yet on what outfits or characters this might involve, as fans of the show know the Dean to be quite the eccentric costume enthusiast.
Frankly, fans don’t give a Dean as long as Rash is front and centre as everyone’s favourite identity-confused school official.
In addition, Community’s star-studded fourth season includes Battlestar Galactica vet Tricia Helfer, Bridesmaids star Matt Lucas, UK thespian Malcolm McDowell as the gang’s new history professor, and Hollywood icon James Brolin as Jeff’s (Joel McHale) father.
Community airs on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Sundays on MBC 4 and Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays on OSN Comedy.
The fourth season will premiere this Friday in the US.
