Italian favourite Vapiano, located at Bahrain City Centre, celebrated its ‘10 years of freshness’ with a birthday bash last week surrounded by its mall team, food aficionados and fans of the Mediterranean lifestyle.
They joined more than 7,200 Vapiano employees from around the globe to raise their glasses to toast the company’s success. Since opening the Vapioano Hohe Bleichen in Hamburg, Germany, a decade ago it has expanded into four continents and 26 countries.
Gregor Gerlach, chief executive officer of Vapiano, said: “It was a very emotional day for us. We have experienced the first 10 years with the best colleagues and guests that you can hope for. We can’t wait for the next 10 years. We have big plans!”
During the celebrations, guests enjoyed a special selection of anti-pasta creations and desserts.
Vapiano is known for combining ‘southern serenity and zesty Italian cuisine’ in a relaxed and casual atmosphere where the food takes centre stage and is prepared before the customers eyes.
