A five-day festival celebrating the art, music and culture of will take place from Saturday until November 21.

The exhibition entitiled ‘Space’ will take place on Saurday at 6.30pm which presents photos by Russian cosmonauts Oleg Kotov and Sergei Krikalev. At 8pm a Gala concert of the Horn Orchestra of Russia and the State Academic Ensemble of Dance, Lezginka, featuring a Higher than Mountains programme will take place at the Cultural Hall.

On Sunday a concert of brass music of the Horn Orchestra of Russia’s Pipes of Victory will take place at 8pm at the Cultural Hall.

On Monday a musical evening by the popular classical music of Russian and Europeans composers by the Horn Orchestra of Russia will take place at 8pm at the Cultural Hall.
Tuesday’s performance by Lezginka entitled Legends of Dagestan will take place at 8pm at the Cultural Hall.

Opera legend Pacido Domingo will perform on November 29 at the Bahrain National Museum’s garden at 8pm. The show also features sopranos Angel Blue & Micaela Oeste, accompanied by the Baden-Baden Philharmonic Orchestra conducted by Maestro Jordi Bernàcer. Seef Mall has introduced a Kids Painting Corner, where children can unleash their creative side with free art lessons conducted by Bahraini Artist Moussa Al Damestani. The lessons are held daily between 4pm and 6pm, where Moussa offers children basic painting, colouring and drawing classes using crayons, coloured pencils, and watercolours. Parents are welcome to join their little artists and assist them in creating their piece of art. Live sketches with realistic and caricature portraits are also available.
