In an effort to promote cultural education and activity, the Ministry of Culture is introducing special rates for students for events held in the National Theatre of Bahrain.
Student rates will now apply to all events held under the umbrella of the National Theatre, including the upcoming Placido Domingo concert.
Students are now eligible for a 50 per cent discount for tickets to the concert in sections B&C if they present a valid student ID at the Virgin Megastore register.
The initiative falls in line with the Ministry’s mission of investing in culture and in youth.
Opera legend Placido Domingo, left, is set to make his Bahrain debut tomorrow. His performance, alongside sopranos Angel Blue and Micaela Oesta, concludes the month of Theatre within the Manama: Capital of Arab Culture programme for 2012.
The concert is to be held outdoors at the Ministry of Culture, with the new National Theatre serving as a backdrop.

Breast Cancer diagnosis can be a very challenging time in anyone’s life.
