Bahrain’s leading telecommunications company Batelco has been honoured for its contribution to CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility). It was presented with the Gold Award for Excellence in CSR by the Arab Organisation for Social Responsibility and Tatweej Academy for Excellence at the recent 3rd annual awards ceremony, held in Jumeirah Beach Hotel, Dubai, said a press release.
For the second year, Batelco was presented with the award in recognition of its comprehensive and reputable CSR programmes which have a far-reaching and positive impact on the lives of thousands of residents of Bahrain.
Prominent figures from the private and public sectors across the Arab world travelled to Dubai to participate in the prestigious event. Batelco public relations manager Osama Alsaad, pictured above, received the award on behalf of Batelco.
