If there’s one thing I know about cheese, it’s that the best ones come from Holland.
Being labelled as Kaaskops, which translates to ‘cheeseheads’ in English, the Dutch have provided the world with a vast variety of cheddar becoming renowned for their famous and classic diversity.
Lulu Hypermarket has decided to separate a segment in its cheese section just for the ‘cheeseheads’ and are offering customers special deals on all the favourites including Edam (BD3.790 per kg), Maasdam (6.900 per kg), Montana (BD6.990 per kg) and even Dutch goat cheese with special herbs (BD7.900 per kg).
Also on offer are low fat Dutch cheeses, with shoppers rushing to nab a piece of the Light Gouda (BD5.790 per kg) which had less than 1kg remaining on the shelf.
With prices ranging between BD3.700 to BD8.900, this shopper can now have one of her favourites for breakfast, lunch and maybe even dinner.
