Krazy Kevin has flown back to Australia after enjoying five days of fun and frolics in Bahrain, which included a return to the Radio Bahrain airwaves, a round of golf, a BBQ party, a school visit and a late night race at the Bahrain International Circuit’s Viva karting track.
The former GulfWeekly columnist will shortly be penning a personal piece about his exploits, which very nearly didn’t happen.
When he touched down in the kingdom he was escorted into a room and asked what his business was in the kingdom after filling out a form stating his profession as a broadcaster.
It appears the authorities are a little touchy having been burned more than once by international media visitors sneaking into the country on visitor visas with the sole intention of stirring things up.
