Some drivers take ages, moving backwards and forwards endlessly trying to slot into a parking space on a busy road, others are lucky enough to rely on technological advances and allow the car to do the work … then there are some who simply mount the pavement.

Good thing it was only a worker with his shopping and not a mother with a child in a pushchair who had to manoeuvre round this fine example of inconsiderate and illegal behaviour on Exhibitions Avenue in Hoora.

As I suggested earlier, the authorities ought to hire a firm to tow such vehicles away for collection somewhere deep in the desert and fine the owners for the privilege.
