Bridget Lindsay, wife of the British Ambassador to Bahrain, was the guest of honour at the opening of First Aid Box (FAB), a provider of UK first aid kits and training, in Seef Mall.

The kiosk is located on the first floor of the mall in front of H&M and Mothercare. In addition to first aid supplies, kits and defibrillators, FAB carries innovative products aimed specifically at babies and children.
A few of the wide range of items on offer include thermometer dummies, Putty Buddies earplugs and Baby Banz sunglasses.

FAB is a company born out of a passion for first aid education and has set a strategic goal to ensure at least one person in every family in Bahrain has an up-to-date First Aid certificate.

With this in mind, its instructional team plans to host regular first aid demonstrations in the mall so that more people are equipped with the skills to save a life. Details of dates and times will be posted at the kiosk and on its website.

“With a shockingly high percentage of people unaware of what to do in an emergency, we want to help parents, nannies and members of the public gain confidence and learn basic first aid skills that could perhaps one day save a life. There is no greater gift in the world than the ability to help a person in need,” said FAB proprietor, Pam Kamal.
