The second instalment of the A & E Fortnight, the A & E Carlsberg, took place at Awali Golf Club with a Stableford format to allow players a more relaxed countenance (when compared to the earlier strokeplay format). Having a shotgun start in the morning and afternoon, conditions were great for golf.
Yong Back Kim took advantage of this to return to the clubhouse as the winner, carding an excellent round with 42 points and taking home a two-shot handicap cut to accompany his prize.
Sun Kyu Kwak was runner-up with 41 points. Three players fought for third place on 39 points, with Adnan Al Sowaidi finishing third, Ian Jennings fourth and Steve Litherland fifth.
