Husband and wife Ray and Brendy Santiago won this week’s NHSC Monday Madness Night Golf competition at the Royal Golf Club for the second consecutive week, with a superb 26 points. Their round included seven nett birdies, an eagle and just one bogey.
The talented duo of Petter Nyberg and Patrick Leslie took the runners-up spot with 25 points, edging Murtuz Zamanly and Steve Hinnant into third place on countback.
In the side contests, Sultan Abdulla Al Hakam was nearest the pin on hole 12 while Jim More was closest on the challenging 16th.
Fifty-two players took to the club’s Montgomerie championship course in the penultimate round of the current series. The competition was played in the ‘rainbow challenge’ format which involves playing from three different sets of tees as a pair’s better ball.
NHSC sales executive P Thevan was on hand to present the prizes.
