With the success of Once Upon a Time doubtlessly on their mind, the series creators Eddy Kitsis and Adam Horowitz move to Wonderland and have decided to expand the show in a new spin-off.
According to Deadline, the producers are bringing in Zack Estrin (Prison Break) and Once Upon A Time consultant Jane Espenson to pen a series based around Alice and set in Wonderland.
The spin-off will reportedly take place in a post-curse universe and will feature flashbacks that provide potential for former Wonderland players, such as the evil Cora (Queen of Hearts), portrayed by Barbara Hershey, Jennifer Koenig and Rose McGowan, to appear.
Production is set to begin later this month in Canada, following the shooting of Once Upon a Time Season 2.
Once Upon A Time airs every Monday and Tuesday at 9pm and 9am on OSN First HD and at 9pm on OSN First.
