Bahrain Mumbai Indians (BMI) trounced Well Flow Gulf by 27 runs in a Group D match of the African & Eastern-sponsored 7-A- Side Indian Expat Softball Cricket Tournament at the Indian Club premises.
Electing to bat on winning the toss, BMI scored 57 runs for the loss of five wickets in the allotted six overs with Mahesh top-scoring with 17 runs. In reply, Well Flow Gulf were bundled out for 30 runs in 5.4 overs.
In a high-scoring Group A match, Sreenivas top-scored with 26 runs as GPZ scored 61 for the loss of four wickets in six overs after electing to bat on winning the toss. In reply, Knights were shot out cheaply for 14 runs in 3.5 overs enabling GPZ to win by 47 runs.
