Bentley, one of the world’s most glamorous motoring marque’s, aims to make an impression in the world of fragrances.
Al Hawaj and Sprecher & Berrier Group of Companies launched the brand’s first fragrance entitled ‘Bentley for Men’ at the Ahmed Zayani and Sons showroom in Zinj.
Present at the Bentley dealership’s event were local dignitaries and members of the press. Yvan Jacqueline, Sprecher & Berrier group general manager, presented the fragrance surrounded by beaming Bentleys and models.
During his presentation he acknowledged top French perfumer Nathalie Lorson, from Firmenich, for her efforts in creating the perfect scent to signify the brand.
Mr Jacqueline explained: “The biggest challenge was to retranslate the universe of Bentley through the fragrance. We wanted to evoke the feeling that drivers get when sitting inside a Bentley from its smell and interior to the raw power of the vehicle.
“I believe this has been done successfully by Lorson, an amazing French perfumer.
“Now those who dream of being part of the Bentley world can be with our fragrance, which is spicy, fresh, elegant and long-lasting.”
Bentley for Men’s scent offers a cocktail of aromatic essences including black pepper, bergamot, green bay leaves and an enhanced leather smell with natural rum essence to give the composition fullness. Clary sage and cinnamon add touches of finesse to the fragrance while fine wood notes distinguish the base of the perfume.
The design of the British luxury marque is also echoed in the bottle. The lines and curves of a Bentley have been transposed into the rounded form of the flask. Its cap surrounds a diamond-shaped polished metal section that reflects the bottle’s high quality.
The Bentley for Men Eau de Toilette 60ml costs BD24.7 and the 100ml is priced at BD37.9.
The fragrance can be found at the Al Hawaj main branch in Salmaniya as well as in its boutique in Bahrain City Centre.
