Heinz and Tatyana Hurter paired up to win the Nandos Monday Madness Night Golf competition at the Royal Golf Club with one of the lowest scores in any series run at the club – 27 nett.
The pair were an outstanding six shots clear of their nearest rivals in the ‘Rumble’ format event.
For the rest of the field, scoring was far more competitive and it was the duo of Mohammed Al Sayed and Ian Mckie who finished in second place with a nett score of 33.4. This was just enough to hold off another husband and wife pairing, Rob and Debbie Lane, who finished third with 33.6 nett.
The Nandos Monday Madness Night Golf Series is open to non-members at a cost of BD20 per night for the 9-hole event. Competitors tee off every Monday in a 6.30pm shotgun start.
