Gulf Weekly Designer displays colourful luxury collection

Luxury Lebanese textile and accessory designer, Dina Khalifé, displayed her collection for the first time in the kingdom in Adliya.

Having exhibited her products in countries across the Gulf including Kuwait and Dubai, the young designer participated at Market 338 as one of 60 local, regional and international designers at this year’s edition of the popular event, organised by Al Riwaq Art Space.

The latest collection by Dina Khalifé, pictured above, right, titled 80 days of sunshine includes colourful scarf designs, tops and dresses, featuring intricate hand drawn illustrations and playful images on quality fabrics, as well as quirky jewellery portraying a variety of themes and dreamlike sequences inspired by her natural surroundings

Dina said: “Each piece has its own magical and fantastical story to tell, one which I’m delighted to be bringing to the Kingdom of Bahrain.”

Dina will be showcasing her whimsical world of accessories, scarves, dresses, tops and cushions throughout today. They are also available online on www.dia-boutique.com and www.dinakhalife.com, although the cultural event, which attracts more than 5,000 visitors annually, will continue until Saturday.
