The paring of Naeem Khan and Rehman Tipu beat over 140 competitors to win the Royal Golf Club’s annual HSBC Member Guest Day Tournament with a very impressive 13 under par score of 49 stableford points.

Narrowly missing out on countback with the same notable score was the husband and wife team of Paul and Jane Guinane while Heiner Abel and Maik Priester completed the top three just one point behind on 48 points.

The pairs betterball competition was played on the club’s Montgomerie championship course.

The prestigious tournament concluded with a prize-giving ceremony and dinner for all competitors.

“Thank you to all the members and their guests who took part in this fantastic event,” said Bernie Morgan, the Royal Golf Club’s director of golf. “This is a very popular tournament year in year out and thank you to HSBC for its continued support.”
