Y.K. Almoayyed & Sons Group and Dongfeng Motor Corporation, one of the largest automakers in China, unveiled the Fengshen S30 sedan at a special ceremony marking their new partnership.
The launch was held at the Dongfeng showroom in Ma’ameer and was attended by Farouk Yousuf Almoayyed, chairman of the Y.K. Almoayyed & Sons Group and top-level officials from both companies.
In addition to producing its own brand of passenger and commercial vehicles, Dongfeng Motor Corporation (DFM) works with leading foreign automobile companies. These partnerships allow DFM to produce and sell a variety of renowned brands in China including Nissan, Renault, Infiniti, Citroën, Honda, Kia and Peugeot. Other brand names include Fengshen, Luxgen and Venucia.

The Fengshen S30 sedan is the first passenger car designed and built by DFM. Its front chrome grille, LED lights, LED combined tail lamps and sporty aluminium alloy wheels give it a touch of class and style.
The interior features a high-quality silver-titanium coloured piano coating decorative dashboard.
The model boasts an advanced multimedia system with hi-fi stereo, CD player, radio, AUX connector, MP3, capability, a USB port and up to six speakers. Optional features include a multifunctional steering wheel with audio control and a 6.5-inch colour touch-screen DVD player.
A range of advanced features are also available including a drive computer, remote central locking, foldable remote control key, electric windows, ABS, EBD, rear parking sensors, anti-theft system and an impact sensing door unlock system.
Under the bonnet is the e-TECO A16 engine, which comes with a Variable Valve Timing system and offers enhanced power, fuel efficiency, reduced noise and emissions.
The S30 comes with 5-speed manual and 4-speed automatic transmissions. Prices start from under BD5,000.
