Nearly 100 golfers took to the Royal Golf Club’s Montgomerie championship course to compete in the Audi quattro Cup, marking the local return of the world’s largest amateur golf tournament series. The first Bahrain edition of the tournament took place in 2010.
Hosted by Audi Bahrain, the tournament saw Claire and Seamus Cassidy finish in first place with a stableford score of 42 points, followed by Sam Jung Kim and Abdulaziz Yousif with 38 points while David Martin and Peter Donkin finished third with 37 points.
The victorious duo will join other country winners at the Audi quattro Cup World Final taking place at Jumeirah Golf Estates in Dubai from December 7-11.
“We are delighted to bring the Audi quattro Cup back to Bahrain,” said Audi Centre Bahrain dealer principal Geetan Jessen.
